Machine Description

The F1210 MT2 is a versatile vertical milling machine designed for precision machining applications. Its robust cast iron construction, precision guideways and electronically controlled spindle provide excellent machining performance across a wide range of materials. Thanks to its quill stroke with drilling depth stop, the machine is equally suitable for milling and drilling operations, making it an ideal workshop solution where flexibility is essential.

Machine Construction

Dovetail Guides Precision dovetail guideways are fitted to all axes and can be adjusted for backlash-free operation. This provides excellent rigidity, machining accuracy and long-term reliability. Protective folding bellows help prevent contamination of the guideways and moving components. Feed Screws Trapezoidal thread spindles are fitted as standard on all axes and feature adjustable bronze double nuts for precision positioning. Optional ball screws are available for applications requiring higher positioning accuracy, reduced wear and backlash-free operation. Cast Iron Construction The Z-column and machine base are manufactured from ribbed grey cast iron, providing excellent vibration damping, rigidity and machining stability.

Milling Head

The milling head can be swivelled through 90° in either direction, allowing machining angles from -90° to +90°.

Quill & Spindle System

The machine features a precision drilling and milling quill with a 55 mm stroke and integrated drilling depth stop. The integrated tool clamping and ejection system allows quick and easy tool changes without additional equipment.
