Lead Screw & Feed System

The D2000 H20 is equipped with precision threaded feed screws and an integrated lead screw drive for automatic feed functions.
  • Automatic longitudinal feed: 0.085 mm/rev
  • Tumbler gear for left and right-hand threads

  • Thread cutting preparation as standard
  • Optional change gear set for metric and imperial threading
Optional thread cutting capability allows production of metric threads from 0.25 mm to 6.0 mm pitch and imperial threads from 10 to 36 TPI.

Headstock & Drive System

The headstock incorporates two adjustable precision DIN tapered roller bearings for excellent spindle stability and machining accuracy. An intermediate gear drive and quiet belt transmission provide smooth power delivery while minimising operating noise.

Tool Slide Assembly

The precision tool slide system features adjustable dovetail guideways with backlash-free adjustment and finely graduated handwheels for accurate machining control.
