Machine Description

The WABECO D6200 HS combines the proven rigidity of the D6000 platform with a high-performance servo spindle drive capable of speeds up to 5,000 rpm. This makes the machine particularly suitable for machining smaller workpieces, fine finishing operations and applications requiring higher cutting speeds. The robust cast iron construction, precision spindle system and professional lead screw drive ensure excellent machining accuracy and long-term reliability.

Prismatic Cast Iron Bed

The D6200 HS features a heavy-duty prismatic bed manufactured from diagonally ribbed grey cast iron. The guideways are inductively hardened and precision ground to provide outstanding wear resistance, rigidity and machining accuracy.

Lead Screw & Feed System

The machine is equipped with trapezoidal thread spindles and a precision lead screw drive system for accurate feed control and thread cutting operations.

Headstock & Drive System

The cast iron headstock incorporates a hand-scraped V-guide system and two adjustable precision DIN tapered roller bearings for maximum spindle stability and accuracy. The innovative belt drive system ensures exceptionally quiet operation while providing smooth and efficient power transmission.

Tool Slide Assembly

The precision tool slide system features adjustable dovetail guideways with backlash-free adjustment and finely graduated handwheels for accurate machining control.
