The FlatCom® L is equipped with a powerful isel CNC control system using maintenance-free servo motors for highly precise and reliable operation. Reliable LES linear units with precision steel ball screw drives provide smooth axis movement and excellent positioning accuracy.
The machine includes a height-adjustable CNC operating panel, a network-compatible Windows control PC and a sliding/folding door system for convenient access to the machining area.
Workpieces are securely clamped using a large T-slot plate system, while various gantry clearance options and extended Z-axis configurations allow the machine to support larger and more demanding applications.
Machine Design
The FlatCom® L is designed specifically for large-format panel processing applications involving aluminium, non-ferrous metals, wood and plastics.
With a maximum traverse range of up to 2500 x 1700 mm, the FlatCom® L is the largest standard CNC machine within the isel product range.
The machine uses a proven FlatCom series structure with a movable gantry, fixed machine table and gantry drive system to deliver exceptional rigidity, stability and dynamic machining performance.
The mechanical structure combines stable, low-vibration aluminium-steel connections with backlash-free ball screw drives on all linear axes to ensure highly accurate machining and long-term reliability.
An optional double Z-axis configuration enables parallel machining operations for increased productivity during demanding industrial applications.
