The FlatCom XL is equipped with a powerful isel CNC control system using maintenance-free servo motors for highly accurate and reliable machine operation. Reliable LES linear units with precision steel ball screw drives provide smooth movement and precise positioning across all linear axes.
The machine includes a height-adjustable CNC operating panel, a network-compatible Windows control PC and a sliding/folding door system for convenient access to the machining area.
Various gantry clearance configurations and extended Z-axis options allow the machine to support a wide range of large-format machining applications.
Workpieces are securely clamped using a T-slot plate system designed for stable and flexible workholding.
Machine Design
The FlatCom XL CNC milling machine is specifically designed for machining non-ferrous metals including aluminium, brass and bronze, particularly where large traverse distances exceeding 2000 mm are required.
The machine uses a robust gantry design where the traversing unit is mounted directly onto the machine table surface. This construction provides exceptional rigidity and a seamless connection to the reinforced machine frame.
The stable machine structure ensures low-vibration operation even at high machining speeds, helping to achieve consistently high machining quality and precision.
