The EMCO Hyperturn machining centre is a highly advanced CNC turning and milling solution designed for complete machining of large and complex precision components. Combining a powerful main spindle, flexible milling spindle, extensive tool magazine capacity and advanced automation and digital integration features, the machine delivers exceptional flexibility, productivity and machining precision for demanding industrial applications.

Equipment

The machine is equipped with a CNC turning spindle for turning and milling operations alongside a flexible high-performance milling spindle capable of speeds up to 12000 rpm. A large-capacity tool magazine system with up to 100 positions is available, complemented by a dedicated 3-position pick-up magazine for large boring bars and tooling. The machine also integrates EMCONNECT digital process assistant functionality with Siemens Sinumerik ONE control technology.

The machine combines advanced 5-axis simultaneous machining capability with high-speed milling technology, automatic tool presetting and extensive process monitoring systems. Work Area

The spacious work area is designed for machining components up to 750 mm turning diameter. When equipped with an NC steady rest and counter spindle, the machine supports complete machining of highly complex workpieces within a single setup.

Main Spindle & Counter Spindle

The EMCO spindle concept uses dual servomotor technology that simultaneously functions as a highly accurate C-axis system. The synchronised motors compensate for backlash while delivering high torque and maximum machining precision. An advanced cooling system ensures exceptional thermal stability during long machining cycles.

Milling Spindle

The water-cooled integrated spindle motor delivers up to 12000 rpm, 33.8 kW and 165 Nm torque for advanced milling, drilling and turning operations. High-pressure internal and external coolant systems up to 80 bar support highly efficient machining performance.

Maintenance Centre

The machine maintenance centre is located at the rear left side of the machine and houses the pneumatic system. Clamping pressures can be programmed and controlled directly through the CNC part program.

Tool Turret

The integrated tool disk system uses directly driven tooling without gear trains, reducing vibration and noise while improving machining precision and reliability.
