Features

The iCP 4030P is equipped with a powerful 3-axis contouring control system capable of simultaneous path-controlled movement for accurate and smooth machining operations. Reliable LES linear units with precision steel ball screw drives ensure precise axis positioning and repeatability. The machine includes a network-compatible Windows control PC and a user-friendly soft-lift bonnet for safe and convenient access to the machining area. Workpieces are securely clamped using a face-milled T-slot plate system, allowing flexible fixture and workholding solutions.

Machine Design

The iCP 4030P is a further development of the iCP 4030 platform, designed specifically for simultaneous multi-axis movement and contour machining applications. Its optimised contouring control allows the tool to follow programmed machining paths at predefined speeds, resulting in improved milling quality and smoother machining performance. The optimised Z-axis design provides increased working clearance, improving flexibility for a wider range of machining tasks and workpiece sizes.

Milling Spindles Optional iFM 1000ER and iFM 1000WS milling spindle systems are available for different machining applications and material requirements. Tool Cooling Systems Optional CoolMin® cooling systems are available in spray or air-cooling versions to improve machining performance and tool life.
