The machine is equipped with either a high-performance mechanical spindle or motor spindle alongside an automatic tool changer with 30 tool stations, expandable to 60 positions. The vertical machining centre is available with Siemens or Heidenhain CNC controls and optional EMCONNECT digital process assistant integration with Siemens Sinumerik ONE systems.

Laser Device for Presetting, Breakage Check & Profile Measuring
The optional laser measuring system scans tool edges and automatically transfers measurement values into the tool offset memory for fast and accurate tool setup and monitoring.
Automatic Workpiece Measuring
The optional infrared measuring probe automatically measures workpieces directly within the machine spindle, allowing measuring cycles to transfer data directly into the CNC control system.
Increased Coolant Pressure with Internal Coolant Supply
An optional high-pressure coolant system with 20 bar coolant pressure provides improved cooling performance for spindle and tooling systems. Air cooling is also available as an alternative.

The familiar CNC control environment remains unchanged while operators gain immediate access to machine status information, operating modes and production-relevant data through a touchscreen-optimised interface.
Heidenhain TNC 620
The Heidenhain TNC 620 control system features a 19-inch TFT colour display with advanced 3D graphics and conversational programming capability. The system is particularly suited for milling, high-speed cutting and advanced 5-axis machining applications on machines with up to 6 axes.
