Features
The OverHead machine is equipped with a powerful isel CNC control system using maintenance-free servo motors for precise and reliable machine operation. Reliable LES linear units with precision steel ball screw drives provide smooth movement and highly accurate positioning across all axes.
The machine includes a height-adjustable CNC operating panel, a network-compatible Windows control PC and a parallel sliding door system for convenient access to the work area.
The machine table provides a completely free clamping surface, allowing flexible workpiece positioning and customised fixture integration for specialised applications.
Variable gantry opening configurations are available depending on customer-specific machining and production requirements.
Machine Design
The OverHead CNC machine series is specifically designed to maximise machining travel distances while maintaining a compact installation footprint.
All drive systems are positioned within the upper section of the machine structure, leaving the entire machine table area completely unobstructed for workpieces, fixtures and automation systems.
This overhead design also provides excellent protection against chips and debris contamination, improving machine reliability and simplifying maintenance.
The free and accessible machining area makes the machine particularly suitable for machining high, bulky or unusually shaped components that would be difficult to process on conventional gantry systems.
