Highlights
The UMill 1000 combines full 5-axis simultaneous machining capability with a rigid gantry machine structure for maximum stability and machining precision. The machine features exceptional thermal stability, high dynamic performance and a spacious work area designed for efficient machining of large and complex components.
The modern moving-column design provides excellent accessibility, while the solid swivel-rotary table with integrated torque motors and direct measuring systems ensures outstanding rigidity, precision and positioning accuracy during demanding machining operations.
Wide B-axis travel of +/-125°, standard linear scales in the X, Y and Z axes and advanced Siemens or Heidenhain control systems provide exceptional machining flexibility and productivity. The machine is also designed for efficient chip removal and front-side automation integration.
Direct Drives
The direct drives integrated into the X and Y axes provide high acceleration rates up to 6 m/s² and rapid traverse speeds of 50 m/min. This technology ensures maximum precision, smooth movement and exceptional machining dynamics.
Swivel-Rotary Table
The rigid swivel-rotary table features integrated torque motors and direct measuring systems for highly accurate 5-axis machining performance. The Ø800 mm table provides excellent stability and positioning precision during complex machining operations.
Closing Flap for Tool Magazine
The stainless steel closing flap separates the work area from the tool magazine during tool changes, helping to maintain cleanliness and improve protection from chips and coolant contamination.
Tool Changer
The automatic tool changer provides space for 30 tools as standard, with optional magazine configurations expanding capacity to 60 or 90 tools for highly flexible machining applications.
